What is a ladder tournament?

This is a tournament that aims to highlight the best players consistently in both men and women. Each competitor can challenge opponents who are higher in positions and with their victories climb the leaderboard.

• (A) MEN (all adults are eligible)
• (A) WOMEN (all adults are eligible)
• (A) MEN INTERNAL (only adults who are active in our course academies have the right to participate - parallel participation is also possible in the (A) MEN category)
• (A) WOMEN INTERNAL (only adults who are active in our course academies have the right to participate - parallel participation is also possible in the (A) WOMEN category)
• (U18) MEN (everyone under 18 is eligible)
• (U18) WOMEN (everyone under the age of 18 is eligible to participate)

Regulations

• Each competitor can challenge to a match through the secretariat or online
• The competitor who will be challenged by someone must schedule the match within 7 days (counting backwards from midnight of the first following business day) otherwise the opponent automatically takes the place of the non-match
• Each new competitor starts from the last place in the ranking
• In the event that there is a pending challenge in a match of any position (whether he caused or was challenged) a new challenge cannot be made by/to the two competitors
• Winner of the match is the one who will win two 2 SET. In case of a tie (1-1 set) a tie break will be held at 10 points (in the U18 and U13 categories each SET is at 4 winning games instead of 6)
• In case of victory of the competitor who caused the highest position
• In case of defeat of the competitor who caused the highest position
• No two consecutive challenges can be performed by the same players within 15 days
• Matches can take place at all hours and days of the week in consultation with the secretariat
• All competitors must be available for game setting at least on Sundays at a time designated by the highest ranked competitor
• In the event that it is not possible to hold the race on the part of the competitor with the highest position even on Sunday
• In the event that even on Sunday it is not possible to carry out the match on the part of the competitor who made the challenge
• The warm-up time according to the ITF is set at 5 minutes
• The prevention of the health of each competitor is a personal responsibility and the Club bears no responsibility
• In case the competitor does not answer at least 3 consecutive challenges from different players
• Matches in the U13 categories are played exclusively with green balls
